There is simply no stopping the Egyptian superstar! He continues to improve year on year. He has not agreed to a new deal with Liverpool and could be on the move in the Summer.

Mo Salah $14.80 with our ADRIX™ Price Index, is simply incredible and he is aging like a fine wine in the red of Liverpool. He continued his amazing start to the campaign with three fantastic goals away to Manchester United in an exhibition of football by Liverpool. It was men against boys at Old Trafford and Salah was more than happy to capitalize.

Is Salah committed to Liverpool? Who is interested in signing him? What can he and Liverpool achieve this season? Let’s dive in;

Form This Season

The build-up to the season was dominated by speculation that Harry Kane $20.84, was leaving Tottenham Hotspur and heading to Manchester City. Then Cristiano Ronaldo $38.23, returned to Old Trafford and basked in the limelight banging in the goals upon his return.

All the while Mo Salah was quietly working away in the background, he had two goals scored and created two more in his first three games, but then Ronaldo arrived home and stole all the headlines. Ronaldo’s couple of goals on his debut and the subsequent goals in the Champions League kept him as front-page news.

Here we are 11 games into the Premier League season and Mo Salah has scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists.

He has continued his form in Europe, scoring 1 versus AC Milan, 2 versus Porto, and another 2 versus Atletico Madrid. Amazingly, Robert Lewandowski $44.95, has had an even better start to his season scoring 13 goals in 11 Bundesliga games and scoring 8 goals in just 4 UEFA Champions League games.

Loving life on Merseyside

Mo Salah signed for Liverpool in June 2017 and had the best season of his career so far;

  • 17/18- 44 goals (32 in the Premier League)
  • 18/19- 27 goals (22 in the Premier League)
  • 19/20- 23 goals (19 in the Premier League)
  • 20/21- 31 goals (22 in the Premier League)

Already after just 15 games, he is 8 goals shy of his whole goals tally for the 19/20 season.

It is reported that Salah has just 20 months left on his current deal with Liverpool and that so far his representatives and the Anfield hierarchy have not been able to agree on a deal.

Salah spoke openly about the issue lately and made it known that he would love to see out his career at Anfield. During an interview with Sky Sports, Salah explained:

If you ask me, I would love to stay until the last day of my football career, but I can’t say much about that-its not in my hands. It depends on what the club want.’

Music to the ears of Liverpool fans, that their starman who is still just 29 years old, is willing to commit his future to the club. No doubt the fans will put huge pressure on the club’s hierarchy to get a deal done.

Transfer Value

If Liverpool doesn’t manage to come to an agreement with Salah’s team over a new deal, where could he go? And how much would he go for?

Obviously, with just 20 months left he could run down the contract and leave on a free transfer. If Liverpool says next summer, we can’t agree on a deal we are going to sell you how much could they realistically get for a 30-year-old Mo Salah? You would have to imagine in the region of $100m to $150m.

Who could afford that Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG, NEWCASTLE?

He surely would not stay in the Premier League, could he do that to Liverpool fans? Realistically it’s between PSG, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich if he wants to stay competitive and at the top. If he wants to wind down his career in comfort he could obviously head to the MLS, Saudi, Qatar, or China. Could you imagine a team of Messi $53.14, Neymar $10.77, and Salah $14.80!

Expectations For The Remainder Of The Season

Liverpool is currently in fourth place, four points behind Chelsea and two points above Arsenal before the sides meet after the International Break. The league will be decided by one of Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City and Mo Salah could be the difference-maker for Liverpool yet again. He has only missed 7 games in 4 going on 5 seasons now so if he can maintain that consistency Liverpool should be there or thereabouts come May.

What do you think of Mo Salah’s start to the season and indeed Liverpool’s chances of picking up silverware this season? Let us know what you think.
